Cellebrite
Redesigning A Website For The Leaders In Digital Forensics
Driving brand alignment, user engagement, and technical optimization
Role: Lead Designer
Timeline: 5 months

Overview
As the vanguard of digital intelligence and investigative analytics, Cellebrite collaborates with global entities to revolutionize digital forensic procedures. The challenge was to redesign their website to reflect their leadership position, ensuring that it not only informs but engages its niche audience effectively.
Problem Statement
- Outdated Design & Technology: The site's backend was antiquated, hindering efficient updates.
- Lack of Brand Cohesion: A need to refresh branding elements to resonate with contemporary aesthetics.
- Ineffective User Engagement: Absence of clear CTAs, resulting in sub-optimal lead conversion.
- Content Gaps: Existing content failed to adequately represent Cellebrite's expansive product suite and organizational verticals.
- Analytics Void: The site lacked mechanisms to track user engagement and behavior metrics.
Strategy & Exectution
- Stakeholder Engagement: Kickstarted the initiative by conducting interviews with key personnel - from marketing heads to lead developers. This established a foundational strategy, partitioning the project into discovery, wireframing, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Content Overhaul: A meticulous site audit identified redundant pages and content. A newly instituted.
- Modular Approach to Design: Adopted a template-based design strategy for various page types - from product showcases to articles. This not only expedited the design process but ensured a consistent look across the platform. An exception was the home page, tailored specifically to address business goals.
- Visual Rebranding: Oversaw the creation of high-fidelity mockups, emphasizing brand cohesion through updated colors, UI elements, and content. The introduction of a mega menu, based on discovery-phase insights, further enhanced user navigation.

Wireframes
During this phase instead of creating a new wireframe for each page, we decided to create templates that would be applied to specific types of pages. We had a template for pages that were for a product, marketing tools such as case studies, and generic content templates for articles and blogs. This would greatly reduce the time to launch but still give the entire website a cohesive and unified look. The home page was the only one designed to be unique that focused on solving business goals.

Visual Design
Below are examples of the approved high fidelity mockups that were later handed off to development. It includes the home page redesign and a mega menu that was built based off the information we gathered during the discovery phase.

The metamorphosed Cellebrite website not only champions user engagement but stands as a beacon of the company's commitment to innovation and growth. The creation of the Resource Center and alignment of design strategies with overarching business goals, in particular, catalyzed both user satisfaction and business expansion.
